1947-1976

Camp patches from the 1947-1976 time frame where no identifying year is visible. This group covers the ubiquitous red, black, white, "Indian face" patches. There are seven known patches in this collection, and at first glance they all look alike. But while they are similar in style, they each have distinctive features which are outlined below.

The first four in the group have "Blackhawk Area Council" around the top and "Camp Lowden" around the bottom. The first three all have cut edges while the fourth one has a rolled edge.
