Camp Lowden history

I am still gathering information for the updated camp history book but I need YOUR help!

Anyone may submit information for possible inclusion in the history book, subject to approval by the author. Would you be kind enough to write a paragraph (or two, three…whatever you are comfortable in doing)?

Here are some of the things that I am looking for:
  • What comes to mind when you think of Camp Lowden?
  • What is it about Camp Lowden that makes you smile? Certain memories? Stories? Staff members? Campfires? Campouts? Wood Badge experience? Order of the Arrow?
  • What gives you that warm, fuzzy feeling when you think of Camp Lowden?
  • If someone has never been to Camp Lowden, what would you say to them that would explain why Lowden is great?
  • If you were on the camp staff, what are your favorite memories of being on staff?
  • Submissions of photographs, newspaper articles, patches, etc., are highly encouraged.
  • Anything else you would like to share

Submitting Items

Electronic submission is preferred whenever possible. If you need or prefer to send physical items, I would be happy to scan or photograph your items and return them to you. Please contact me for more information. In certain cases I may be able to meet with you.
